Grow Lights

Hi guys,

So I see that you now have grow lights available. 2 questions to start off with, first, are they as good as HPS lights, and do you have any in stock, or is this something you need to order?

Opinions expressed are my own. You can't have them. Go get your own damn opinions.

Hi,

We stock them. The most popular is the 120 Watt, but the 90 are close behind them. I have this http://www.unpluggedpowersystems.ca/shop/product.php?id_product=60 90W rectangular one that I use at the house to grow hot peppers and I seem to have quite good luck with them. I brought the peppers in just before the frost and aside from a small problem with aphids, I've had quite a few peppers from them with no external light source.

I plan to start some seeds and see how well the fare, but I have heard from other customers that they are very good for starters as well. The 90 watt grow light I have is lighting a 10x10 room just fine.

I did a search but had no hits for full spectrum lorescent grow lights I have seen household florescent lights used in threads and LED grow lights talked about. so what about full spectrum florescent grow lights to start seeds or to help the plants after they have started ?
